skool Holidays

This is the last week of skool for this term.

We have 4 weeks off, this means i will not be posting for a while.

my family and i are going to broome. We will be staying near cable beach.

We will be staying there for 2 weeks. I can't wait.

S.D.C.C vs Darwin

On the weekend we played Darwin,
They won the toss and batted first. At drinks they were 3-46 after 15 overs. So we needed to work hard to keep the runs down. The two spinners came on. Dylan and i each bowled 5 overs. In that 5 overs i got a hat trick leaving my bowling figures 4-2 after 5 overs. And dylans 2-7 after 5.

We bowled them out for 59. I stayed out there for 50 balls and made 24. Then Hayden and Lewis came in and won the game for us. We ended up making 140 runs.

Yesterday palmerston High school versed Singapore.

It is a good chance to verse another country. So yesterday was the perfect oppertunity. The Singapore team was 10 minutes late so we started a bit late. They won the toss and elected to bat. with the crowd on our side we were favourites to win. And we did just that. Our crowd was preety happy we won

N.S.W vs Q.L.D

Tonight is state of origin,

it has nothing to do with cricket but NRL is my second favourite sport.

I go for New South Wales because most of my family comes from there.

My dad and i go for NSW but my mum goes for QLD, at home we usually bet something.

This year if QLD wins i have to go around the school with QLD written on my arm.

I hope NSW wins.

S.D.C.C vs Nightcliff 22nd may 2010

On the weekend we played Nightcliff.

We won the toss and bowled first, at drinks they were 5 for 52 after 15 overs . Jade Thew bowled well and got 4 wickets. Sam also bowled well and he got 3 wickets. they were all out for 90.

So it was our chance to bat, our top order fell quickly only making half the runs. The game was slowly slipping away, untill louis came in and made a quick 22 winning us the game by 3 runs

16th may southern districs u/15 VS. S.d.c.c u/17

On sunday we had a bye , so we had a scratch match.

We won the toss and elected to bat,
Hayden and sam opened the batting and Hayden should have got and the first ball but the missed the stumps. After that we done ok with the bat putting 136 on the board.

I opened the bowling with spin i took 2 wickets so i was happy. We got through the wickets easily getting them all out for 106. We Won =)

S.D.C.C vs Darwin 1st may

On the weekend we played Darwin.
They won the toss and elected to bowl. Hayden and Braidan opened, It was the first time he had ever opened he done a pretty good job. But then Hayden lost his wicket to a spinner. That brought me to the crease. This kid tried to sledge me saying i couldn't bat then i hit a six and that shut him up for a while. The other team didn't know where to bowl to me. Shortly after i had to retire on 46, four runs short of my first 50 of the year. After i retired Declan came out to bat he didn't usually bat well but he did this time he made 10. We ended up making 134.

It was our turn to bowl, Tyson opened but didn't get a wicket. We only bowled 8 exters in 30 overs that was the best the whole year. Lee bowled well getting 4 wicketsfor 5 runs which is very good. We bowled them out for 45 .

My game on the weekend 24th april

On the weekend,
my team played Tracy Villiage, They batted first and put 78 runs on the board. I kept most of the game so didn't get a bowl but got a run out. Me and my friend Hayden opened the batting, he got out for 5. A couple of balls later i hit my first boundry with a pull shot on the on-side. I was batting well untill i hit the ball straight to square leg. Its all good though because we won with 15 overs to spare, thanks to Tyson who hacked up and scored 30. Here is some fixtures
